Dramatic Writing Workshop
Timothy Nolan teaches eight- and ten-week Dramatic Writing Workshops to schools, community and civic organizations, and theater groups. The class uniquely combines the theatric principles of Peter Brook's Empty Space with the character approaches of Stanislavski and Strasberg. The class teaches dramatic structure, plot, character, setting, conflict, and the unity of opposites. Students will learn these through a combination of lecture, discussion, and reading of their own scenes.
